Hello! I'm Alicia Anderson, a Lighting & Comp artist with experience in both CG Animation (Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight, The Wishing Box (2017)) and VFX (Cats (2019), Finch (2021)).

I've worked in both Maya and Katana for lighting, used VRay and Renderman for rendering, and have extensive experience in Nuke for both shot work and gizmo creation.  I also have experience with several other 3D software, including Unreal, Blender, Photoshop, Resolve, and more. My skillset also includes surfacing, modeling, and some basic Python scripting. 

I've previously worked at DreamWorks TV and Mill Film. At DreamWorks, my work focused on creating lighting & compositing setups for partner studios to use as a starting point for shot work, creating useful gizmos to accomplish various comp treatments, plussing shots, reviewing asset lighting from partner studios, and had the opportunity to provide lighting/comp direction for a pair sequences in Jurassic World: Chaos Theory. At Mill Film, I lit CG characters so they could be integrated into back plates as well as assisted Key artists in creating sequence-wide lighting rigs as a place to start for artists when lighting shots.
